Selma Naman’s Marriages
Selma Naman has been married more than once but never once to Mourad Jellabi, the supposed father of her two children. She has also lied to many regarding pregnancies and paternity. Let’s hope Mourad Jellabi was wise enough to get a paternity test.
Selma Naman married one Dr. Leysi Muhammed in Turkey in 2006 after lying to him that she was pregnant with his child. Selma and her mother, Meral, also lied about credentials telling Muhammed that they were both doctors as well. They lied about Selma’s age telling Muhammed that she was 26 instead of her real age at the time of 37 (Selma will be 45 on July 26, 2014).
When Muhammed came across Selma’s birth certificate and asked about the age discrepancy, Selma told him that her family had made her marry a Turkish man and change her birth date to appear older. Muhammed believed the crazy story because Selma’s mother, Meral, promised Muhammed that the story was true and that once back in the United Stated the date of birth would be corrected. Troubling that Selma’s mother would have also been part of such a charade.
As the story goes, Dr. Issa Naman who is Selma’s step father extended himself to Leysi Muhammed by offering to help him complete his studies in medicine by having Muhammed work with him. Issa Naman and his wife, Meral, gave Muhammed allusions of a better life, better career in the United States.
Selma and Muhammed were married. The following day after the wedding Selma, Meral and Issa Naman fled back to the United States without a word to anyone. It is Turkish tradition to give gold to the married couple as a present. As such, Selma had received many lavish gifts of gold for the wedding. Selma and her parents brought every one of those presents back to the United States with them when they fled as well as the diamond ring given to Selma by Muhammed.
Muhammed was devastated by the deeds of Selma and her mother, Meral. His wife of the day prior had fled the country of Turkey the very next day without notice and after lies of being with child.
What is also so troubling is how the mother, Meral, assisted in the lies about the age discrepancy and the false pregnancy. Dr. Issa Naman must have also known what was about to occur. No one understood the real motive behind what they had done. Meral’s husband, Issa, was a doctor making it even more difficult to understand the need to flee with the wedding gifts.
Selma Naman was arrested on October 18, 2006. Bail was set at $20,000. In February 2007 Selma Naman was found guilty and convicted under section code 459. As of this writing in 2014 Selma’s daughter is seven years old which means Selma was pregnant at the time of these events. This means that she was pregnant when she married Leysi Muhammed which is what she had told him. However, Mourad Jellabi was back in the United States and Selma had already begun her relationship with him before flying to Turkey to marry Leysi. Was she pregnant with Mourad’s child? Mourad Jellabi is named as the father of Naman’s daughter. Let’s hope he was wise enough to have test done to verify paternity.
A list of the items taken with available receipts was given to the Turkish prosecutor. The U.S. Embassy was contacted who provided names of their authorized attorneys to contact. The Turkish prosecutor’s office is to be informed if it is known that Selma Naman has travelled to Turkey. As Naman is known to have stolen passports from past roommates, you never know what name she will be attempting to use should she dare attempt a trip to her homeland (she was actually born in Brooklyn, NY).
It is common practice for Naman to drag people’s name through the mud when the relationship ends. She does the same with friendships often attributing to them the actions that Naman herself perpetrated. Naman has dragged Muhammed’s name through the mud in many blogs and posts.
Here are just a few (note that Naman spells the last name as Mohamed or Muhamed):

Selma Naman also married a man by the name of Kizil Korhan. Selma was paid to marry Korhan in exchange for providing him with a green card. Selma later filed for an annulment in California.
Because Selma Naman lives a life of tangled lies, many are not sure if to believe her claims that she once dated Paolo Garzaroli. Of course, if there was more to the dating such as a marriage, she may not admit to that since she hasn’t with the others. She does claim in one of her blogs to have been pregnant with Garzaroli’s child. Of course, we’ve already mentioned that this was a common claim from Naman to the men in her life so who is to know for sure. We do find it interesting how the name of Paolo and his sister Roberta get linked to Selma Naman and her family in the "People Finders" link below. What would cause that to occur. One thing we do know is that Naman has been sure to slander Garzaroli and the family name in many of her blogs as is common practice for Naman when she feels she has been scorned or betrayed. Paolo Garzaroli owns a hotel, restaurant and cigar business in the Bahamas.
There was a man by the name of Erik who meet Selma just shortly before she was carted off to prison in January of 2000. Erik met Selma while he was out of town. Erik and Selma kept in touch by e-mail and a couple of months later Selma informed him that she was carrying his child. Much drama ensued as Erik was married to someone else when he met Selma. Selma eventually cut off contact with Erik who concluded that the pregnancy story was all an attempt by Selma to get him to leave his wife or try to get child support. There was, however, a part of Erik who wondered if Selma had cut off communication with him because it was right around the time of her arrest. Erik wondered if there was any truth to the pregnancy story. Erik can relax. Selma currently has two children around the ages of 7 and 6. They are not old enough to fit Erik’s timeframe.
Mourad B. Jellabi
We will skip to Mourad Ben Jellabi, the supposed father of Selma Naman’s two children. Even if you knew nothing of Mourad, you would be safe to make the assumption that he has endured plenty from his association with Selma Naman. He has been sued on charges of domestic violence and slandered from here to the Turkish land. We hope that Mourad was wise enough to have the paternity to Selma’s two children verified. For more on Mourad Jellabi, please refer to our separate blog dedicated solely to Mourad.
Think Twice Before Dating Selma Naman
We have learned that Selma has slashed tires of past suitors and slandered their name. Even today you can google Mourad Jellabi and Leysi Muhammed and read the nastiness that Selma has written about then in various internet forums including her own blogs.
Here is a link to one such blog where Selma Naman mentions Leysi (Naman spells his last name as Mohamed. Use this spelling to locate other posts about the man she married, then left, and lied to about carrying his child). Once you access the link, scroll down to the very last of Selma’s posts. Don’t forget to also google Mourad Jellabi to read what Selma writes about him. Naman does it all using a made-up name but anyone who knows Selma knows it is her.
There are many posts suggesting that Selma Naman may not have been the pure, reserved woman she tries to portray herself as today. She has been accused of having multiple pregnancies from different men. Furthermore, it is believed that she has tried to place the responsibility of the pregnancies on the wrong man.
Check out this post from someone responding to the whistle blower article about Siebel Edmonds and altered by Selma Naman:
Check out this other post from someone who was the target of Selma Naman’s vindictive ways and who also makes reference to Naman’s promiscuous lifestyle.
Selma Naman writes in one of her own blogs that she carried the child of Paolo Garzaroli whom she claims she dated at one time in her life.
Just how many pregnancies could there have been for Selma Naman. We know that she has lied to many men about being pregnant when she was not. However, how many of those pregnancies were true. How many of those pregnancies ended in termination. All of these are very interesting questions indeed.
