Dear Ms. Ciglan and Heather Lerhman:
Please be advised that this firm has been retained by, Selma Naman, to take immediate action against you personally if you fail to cease & desist from your persistent harassment, interference with her business, and distribution of defamatory content in connection with Ms. Naman.
You have repeatedly harassed and spread harmful and damaging rumors about my client. Your actions have violated my client’s right to quiet enjoyment in her home, as well as affected her business resulting in loss of income. Specifically, on or about June 12, 2019, you contacted Ms. Naman’s apartment management company, which resulted in her wrongfully being locked out. You have made various phone calls to Ms. Naman’s business contacts in which you stated she was a “thief” and a “convict”, and you have engaged in an active campaign of misinformation against Ms. Naman, regularly making inappropriate and defamatory comments about my client. Your actions have incited fear and anxiety in my client which has affected her ability to carry out her ordinary daily activities, as well as caused irreparable damage to her business relationships resulting in loss of income.
Demand is hereby made for you to stop harassing my client, and to cease all communications with her. Any communication should be directed to my attention. In addition, this correspondence shall serve as formal notice to cease all defamatory statements against my client, stop interfering with her business endeavors, and stop interfering with her right to quiet enjoyment of her residence.
Be advised that should you fail to immediately cease and desist from the afore described conduct, my client has advised me that she will commence legal action against you to the full extent of the law including but not limited to, tortious interference with business relationships, intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, and legal fees.
